ERSG Ltd is seeking a Senior Field HSE Advisor for an offshore wind developer in Brooklyn, New York. This contract role requires a minimum 12 months, with ASAP start. Location is Brooklyn; benefits include health, dental, vision, and a 401K with 4% match after a year.

The role emphasizes strong HSE leadership, ability to participate actively in daily project meetings, and coaching site teams on safety best practices. Bonus points for knowledge of NYC codes and union experience.

Qualifications

• HSE professional who can be diplomatic, smart and speak in project daily meetings (not just toolbox talks).
• Knowledge of NYC buildings codes/legislation is a big bonus.
• Experience working with, alongside or managing unions is a big bonus.
• Marine/port terminal exposure or similar is a plus, not required.

Responsabilités

• Participate in project daily meetings and provide HSE input.
• Coach and mentor site teams on HSE best practices.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

ERSG is currently looking for a Senior Field HSE Advisor for an offshore wind developer in Brooklyn, New York.

Position Overview:

• Location: Brooklyn, New York


• Employment Type: Contract


• Duration: Minimum of 12 months


• Start: ASAP


• Benefits: Health, dental, vision insurance and after 12 months of employment, contractor is eligible for a 401K with a 4% match.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• HSE professional who can be diplomatic, smart, computer savvy and actually be able to contribute and speak in project daily meetings (not just toolbox talks)


• Knowledge of any NYC department of buildings codes, legislation etc. a huge bonus


• Any experience working with, alongside or managing unions a huge bonus


• Some work with port staging or marine terminal experience great but not required (Crowley for example)


• Lifting experience would be cool but not required


• GWOs or ability to obtain a bonus but not essential


• Looking for someone who can also be a “coach”
