Job summary

CELINE in Chicago is seeking an energetic luxury retail professional to meet sales targets and contribute to consignment goals while delivering the CELINE experience.

You will use product knowledge to maximize sales, build a client book, promote store events, and assist with shipping, alterations, and inventory as needed.

This role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays to support our evolving luxury clientele.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in retail, preferably luxury.
• Computer literate; learn and use various software packages.
• Candidates with client books strongly preferred.
• Desire to work in a retail setting, with a focus on sales.
• Passion for luxury product with an appreciation for design.
• Tech Savvy - ability to learn and utilize various software programs.
• Service orientation and customer focused.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals.
• Incorporate product knowledge in the sales process to maximize sales per transaction.
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Capture all relevant customer information for entry in database.
• Promote store events through email, phone, and personalized notes.
• Maintain and expand a client book.
• Follow up with shipping, alteration, or other client issues.
• Assist in housekeeping and the maintenance of the store image.
• Support shipping and receiving and inventory control as requested.
