Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) to maximize sales in the prestige category—color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance—by engaging guests to identify their needs and guiding them to the right products, while upholding store standards and policies.

The role supports the Sales Manager through focus on performance, people, and process, delivering an exceptional guest experience and brand-aligned service in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; Cosmetology license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Passion for prestige products, guest service, and selling; ability to build strong customer relationships; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales in the prestige category by engaging guests to determine their needs and assist in selecting prestige merchandise.
• Provide exceptional guest service, greet guests, personalize recommendations, and inform about promotions and events.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver an unmatched guest experience.
• Maintain store standards, replenish products, and ensure hygiene and tester maintenance.
