Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) to maximize sales in the prestige category including color cosmetics, skincare and fragrance. You will engage guests to assess needs, guide product selection, and perform demonstrations that drive sales while upholding store standards and policies.

The role supports the Sales Manager through service, guest experience, and event execution, requiring a passion for beauty and strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates passion and competency for prestige product, guest service, and selling.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales.
• Greet and engage every guest, personalize service, and inform guests of promotions and services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to drive prestige sales.
• Stay informed on new trends and products to better serve guests.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
