Job summary

Sinclair Manufacturing, doing business as PacAero Norton, seeks an experienced Press/Tool Room Manager to lead daily press and tool room operations and supervise the production team. The role combines hands-on equipment work with people leadership, quality adherence, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will manage department priorities, support employee development, and ensure safe, accurate work compliant with QMS standards in a full-time, onsite setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in press operations, metal stamping, tool room operations, or related manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience involving training, coordination, performance feedback or documentation.
• Technical or vocational coursework in manufacturing, industrial technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate power presses and foot presses to support production.
• Retrieve and inspect raw materials to meet job specs.
• Produce First Articles for press orders and coordinate QA approvals.
• Complete production travelers and documentation accurately.
• Monitor material usage and inventory; dispose of scrap properly.
• Provide hands-on technical and operational support to production areas.
