Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating printing equipment or presses.
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze machine operations and identify issues affecting quality.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise work.
• Ability to visually inspect printed products for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up the two-color press prior to printing.
• Inspect products visually and separate envelopes as needed.
• Maintain accurate counts of envelopes, boxes, cartons and skids.
• Pack envelopes neatly and keep pace with machine speed.
• Place envelopes on the machine feed and ensure correct labeling and packaging.
• Troubleshoot jams and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Adjust ink and water roller pressures as required.
• Keep press and workspace clean and lean.
