Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Set up the 2-color press prior to printing and run productions.
  • Visually inspect products and separate envelopes.
  • Maintain accurate counts from envelopes to boxes, cartons and skids.
  • Pack envelopes neatly and keep pace with machine speed.
  • Place envelopes onto the feed of the machine and ensure proper order.
  • Check orders throughout production for correct labeling, printing and packaging.
  • Remove paper jams and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Adjust ink and water roller pressures as needed.
  • Keep press area clean and aligned with lean specifications.

Sensory requirements are tactile/touch with hands and digits, near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Reasoning, mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills for appropriate operations of the equipment.
