Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a #3 Operator in Press in our Eagan, MN printing plant. You will work as part of the Core Publishing Solutions team operating offset and digital presses, performing setup, production tasks, and quality checks while supporting safety and efficiency goals.

In this role you will read specs, prepare for jobs, monitor equipment, and document activities in SAP and MII. A 90-day sign-on bonus of 2,500 USD is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• Vocational/technical degree strongly preferred.
• Some experience in an industrial setting with production machinery is strongly desired.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills; able to read rulers and take measurements.
• Thorough understanding of electrical safety and PPE; follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the crew on the press, performing setup and production activities.
• Preparing for upcoming jobs by reading the DSR and job specifications, and staging materials.
• Quality checking products for our customers and completing transactions.
• Filling in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators as needed including covering absences.
• Monitoring equipment and product quality, documenting activities in systems (MII, SAP).
• Using safety equipment and attending safety training to ensure compliance.
