Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corp. in Eagan, MN is seeking a #2 Press Operator for our Core Publishing Solutions team. You’ll operate state-of-the-art offset and digital web presses on a 3rd shift and may earn a $5.00/hour differential plus a $2,500 bonus after 90 days in role.

Occasional overtime and weekend shifts are possible, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Responsibilities include setup, monitoring runs, troubleshooting, documenting activity in SAP/MII, and leading teammates to meet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
• Experience leading and training others
• Experience with industrial production machinery and tooling
• Strong mechanical/technical troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of Lean/continuous improvement concepts
• Able to read safety, operating, and production documents
• Physically able to lift 5 lbs to shoulder, 10–50 lbs intermittently
• Able to stand/walk/bend/reach/kneel for shift durations

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and setup requirements
• Perform or delegate setup tasks on presses and equipment
• Monitor equipment and product quality during production runs
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues as needed
• Communicate during shift hand-offs and with maintenance
• Record material usage and equipment issues in SAP and MII
• Provide work direction to crew and other workers
• Participate in safety programs and housekeeping
• Assist in process improvements and training
• Fill in for other operators during absences or breaks
