Job summary

Plascore Metals division is hiring a Weekend Shift Press Operator to process aluminum blocks through presses and support the sheeting room. You will operate forklifts to move blocks, load/unload presses, set up plates, and ensure accurate labeling and inventory in the computer system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, sharp attention to detail, mechanical inclination, and availability for overtime. ITAR eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail essential.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to perform basic mechanical tasks and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload presses accurately and safely.
• Set up aluminum plates for sheeters.
• Separate blocks from plates using forklift trucks.
• Label blocks and ensure correct block labeling.
• Receive new blocks into computer inventory and transfer materials in software.
• Stage materials for saws and retrieve from warehouse as needed.
• Audit warehouse materials by location and ensure inventory integrity.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Identify, implement, and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and quality.

As a Press Operator you will be processing aluminum blocks through presses. Manager aluminum block warehouse.
