Job summary

Plascore Inc. is seeking a Laminator for the Panels division on 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30PM–10:30PM). Starting at $22.58/hour, with a $1,200 sign-on bonus and ongoing monthly $100 increments for a year.

You will perform laminating with hot and cold presses, prep skins/core, read drawings, load panels, inspect finished parts, and maintain logs in the electronic system. A 5S-focused, safe, clean work environment is required, plus eligibility for ITAR programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with mechanically inclined mindset.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate laminating presses and monitor process parameters.
• Load/unload panels, inspect laminates and prepare platens.
• Read specifications, PQRs, travelers and BOMs.
• Record data in electronic systems and complete logs.
• Maintain a clean, safe 5S workplace and follow procedures.

As a Laminator you will perform laminating operations using hot and cold press processes. In addition to lamination, the job also includes steps such as material preparation, routing, and assembly of components for lamination.***SPECIAL SIGN ON BONUS***$1200 FOR THIS ROLE ONLY.$100 EVERY 30 DAYS YOU WORK UNTIL 1 YEAR ($1200).Currently there is an opening for a Laminator in our Panels division on 2nd shift (Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 10:30PM)Panels Laminator: Starting at $22.58 per hour on 2nd Shift!Key Responsibilities:Build panels using skins, core, frames, rails and other components.Load and unload panels from press.Inspect and prepare press platens for next operation.Prepare skins & core according to process specifications, PQR, Travelers, and BOM (Bill of Material).Read and interrupt technical drawings and schedules.Read work orders, apply materials, and follow instructions per the electronic data system.Is able to calculate pressure for operation for a given press.Perform testing on adhesive per process specifications.Inspect finished product for appearance, alignment and bonding.Completes necessary paperwork, maintains detailed notes and fills out all logs.Fill out defect/NCMR data in the electronic data system.Assist other departments as necessary.Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times and continually improves 5S.Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredStrong attention to detailMechanically inclinedAbility to work overtime.Additional Requirements:Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).Plascore is an established global manufacturer of honeycomb core, composite structures, and cleanrooms.
