Plascore Inc. is seeking an Extrusion Miter Saw Operator for the Panels division on 3rd shift (10:30p - 6:30a, Sunday - Thursday) in Zeeland, MI.

You will gather extrusions, measure and cut per work orders, inspect for quality, adjust saw, and create fixtures for length/angle—while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and supporting multiple departments. The role includes a $22.29/hour starting wage on the 3rd shift with a $1,200 sign-on bonus, plus ongoing incentives and comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work overtime and on third shift if required.

Responsibilities

• Gather extrusions and cutting materials to cut jobs according to work orders.
• Verify materials used before and after operations (correct quality, color, and material).
• Measure and cut extrusion as stated in work order and illustrated on drawing.
• Accurately adjust blade and guards on saw.
• Interpret drawings for best cutting practices.
• Create fixtures to cut materials to length/angle as needed.
• Perform dimensional inspections and inspect for cosmetic flaws on finished cut product.
• Monitor saw on a regular basis and report equipment concerns to supervision/maintenance.
• Read work orders and follow instructions and prioritize tasks.
• Assist staging materials for production.
• Complete necessary paperwork and DMNs for defective products.
• Perform inventory duties as needed and assist other departments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
