Job summary

Plascore, a global manufacturer of honeycomb core, is seeking a Fabricator for the Panels division on 1st shift (5:30a - 1:30p) at our Michigan facility. Starting wage is $18.90 per hour.

You will perform fabricating/finish work including routing, drilling, inserts, and fasteners while maintaining quality and safety. Responsibilities include loading and shipping finished goods, reading work orders/drawings, assisting other departments, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Must be eligible to work on ITAR programs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate/finish components, assemblies, and products (routing, drilling, inserts, fasteners).
• Load skids, protect product, and crate finished goods.
• Fill out shipment forms, attach labels, and enter data in the system.
• Read work orders and drawings; assist other departments and seek improvements.

As a Fabricator you will perform operations such as drilling, routing, and assembly of components.***SPECIAL SIGN ON BONUS***$1200 FOR THIS ROLE ONLY.$100 EVERY 30 DAYS YOU WORK UNTIL 1 YEAR ($1200).Currently there is an opening for a Fabricator in our Panels division on 1st shift (5:30a - 1:30p. Monday - Friday)Panels Fabricator: Starting at $18.90 per hour on 1st Shift!Key Responsibilities:Perform fabricating/finish work on components, assemblies, and product including routing, drilling, installing inserts, and installing fasteners.Clean product to be packaged.Load skids and protect product.Crate finished goods.Fill out shipment info forms.Fill out and attach shipping labels.Completes necessary paperwork and enters data into the electronic data system.Fill out NCMR's.Assist other departments as necessary.Read work orders, review drawings, follow instructions.Frequently asks production area if they need help.Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredStrong attention to detailMechanically inclinedAbility to work overtime.Additional Requirements:Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).Plascore is an established global manufacturer of honeycomb core, composite structures, and cleanrooms.
