Job summary

Reuters in Eagan, Minnesota, is hiring a #2 Operator in Press for the 2nd shift to operate state-of-the-art offset and digital web presses. You will review specifications, set up machinery, and monitor runs to ensure top quality output.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting activities, and contributing to safety programs. A $2,500 signing bonus is offered after 90 days in role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Experience leading and training others.
• Experience in an industrial setting with production machinery.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Able to lift and move loads as required (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and setup requirements.
• Perform or delegate setup tasks.
• Monitor equipment and product to ensure high quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment or product issues.
• Document activities and materials used accurately.
• Provide guidance to others and participate in safety programs.
• Assist in process improvements and housekeeping.
• Fill in for other Operators as needed.
