Job summary

American Plastics is hiring a Production Operator to support production, inspection, and packaging of our products. You will manufacture storage and janitorial items used daily in homes and workplaces.

Shifts run 7am–7pm with a 2/2/3 schedule, offering a 3-day weekend every other week. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off. Must be 18+, able to stand long hours, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
• Able to communicate effectively, written and verbal.
• Must PASS a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation with zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specs and packing per customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

About the Position

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts

• Days: 7am – 7pm

Duties & Expectations On The Job

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Compensation

What you will enjoy: Earn up to $20.25 per hour with perfect attendance.
