Job summary

American Plastics, LLC is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will participate in production, inspection and packaging of our retail storage and janitorial products, contributing to a safe, clean environment.

Shifts run 7am–7pm with a 2/2/3 fixed schedule, offering a 3-day weekend every other week. We provide competitive hourly pay, 60 hours of paid vacation, 9 holidays, and comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN & AUTHORIZE BACKGROUND CHECK

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

About the Position
