Job summary

Prestige Stamping LLC, a high-volume manufacturer of tight-tolerance washers, seeks a Press Operator for day or midnight shifts in Warren, MI. You will operate press machinery, load coils, inspect quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following safety procedures and production instructions.

You must be 18+, be a team player, communicate well, and pass a physical including lifting 50 lbs. Benefits include holidays, attendance incentives, 401k, and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality for every shift.
• Team player capable of cooperation on the line.
• Able to pass a physical, lift 50 lbs, and work on elevated press platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operate press machinery to produce quality parts per requirements.
• Inspect machinery before use and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor part quality with Quality Control and address issues.
• Load coils and ensure correct steel size and grade.
• Safely handle, band, and return coils as required.
• Remove/install die sections and die shoes following safety procedures.
• Monitor steel alignment and adjust for production needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Complete production paperwork like E.O.R. tickets and hopper tags.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with other production-related duties as needed.
