Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corporation in Eagan, MN is seeking a #2 Operator in Prepress for the 3rd shift. You will lead the crew, review job specs, set up tasks, monitor runs, and perform troubleshooting to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Ability to read and explain safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement.
• Good communication sharing information across shifts and departments.
• Proven success as a trainer.
• Competence with rulers and measurement; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and setup requirements.
• Perform or delegate setup tasks as needed.
• Monitor equipment and product through the run to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex product or equipment issues.
• Communicate effectively during shift hand-offs and across teams.
• Evaluate mechanical condition and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Use computer-based workflow applications to manage files.
