Press Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Overview

Jefferson Industries Corp, as the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, participates actively in the global automotive industry. We specialize in designing and developing press dies and tools for automotive manufacturing, emphasizing quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking skilled Press Maintenance Technicians to join our team on 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm).

Responsibilities

• Support production by repairing and improving equipment to meet daily requirements.
• Perform equipment repairs, improvements, work area organization, assist in equipment installation, and support quality and safety initiatives.
• Conduct monthly downtime analysis and implement countermeasures.
• Maintain 5S organization, respond promptly to breakdowns, and support engineering tasks.
• Ensure proper documentation of work, safety compliance, and training as needed.
• Coordinate with operators and team leaders to address recurring issues and maintain communication.
• Complete work orders, log downtime and equipment data, and perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of maintenance experience or an engineering degree.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and familiarity with PLC systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
