Job summary

Winpak Control Group Inc. is seeking a Press Helper on the 2nd shift (2:15pm - 12:45am) to support printing press operations in Norwood, NJ. This role is full-time and 100% onsite, with a wage range of $20-$23 per hour.

You will assist with press setup, plate mounting, and cleaning, ensuring safety, cGMP compliance, and quality standards while learning cross-training toward Press Operator responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Good eyesight and color discrimination.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety, cGMP standards.
• Complete or willing to complete required trainings: cGMP, HazCom, and forklift safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist press setup and operation, including cleaning, installing plates, anilox rolls, and doctor blades.
• Review job specifications and assist with flexographic press and plate mounting processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with cGMP standards.
• Assist in training Press Utility personnel and perform incoming material quality checks.
• Begin cross-training for future Press Operator responsibilities.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
