Job summary

Winpak Control Group Inc. in Norwood, NJ is seeking a Press Helper to support 2nd shift printing press operations.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure high-quality production. You will assist with press setup, plate mounting, and routine maintenance, participate in training for future Press Operator duties, and follow cGMP and PPE protocols while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Commitment to safety and CGMP protocols.
• Completion or willingness to complete trainings: CGMP, HazCom, forklift safety.

Responsibilities

• Support press setup and operation, including cleaning, installing plates, anilox rolls, and doctor blades.
• Review job specifications and assist with flexographic press and plate mounting processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with cGMP standards.
• Assist in training Press Utility personnel and perform incoming material quality checks.
• Begin cross-training for future Press Operator responsibilities.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
