Digital Room LLC in Van Nuys, CA is hiring a Press Feeder for our 2nd shift. This full-time hourly position offers a clear path to growth within a busy printing plant.

You will prepare plates, assist presses, load materials, inspect quality, record production data, and ensure safety. Overtime may be required; shift is 1:30 PM–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare plates by punching holes and setting them in the designated color.
• Assist Press Operator by removing and replacing worn rollers and adjusting press pressure.
• Load skid of unprinted sheets on feed device using the pallet jack.
• Inspect materials and products for defects to meet job specifications.
• Record production data and report hazards to management.
• Ensure equipment and work area are safe and in good working order.
• Overtime may be required; perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $19.00 To $26.00 Hourly

We’re hiring! Our Van Nuys, California printing plant is looking for a Press Feeder to join our team. If you’re motivated and ready to grow with a company in the print industry, this could be the job for you.

Pay Range:

2nd Shift Pay Rate: $19.00 – $26.00/hour

Actual compensation within the range will depend on a variety of factors including the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
Shift:

2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare the plates by punching holes on front and placing them inside the designated color.
• Assists Press Operator in removing and replace worn rollers and adjust pressure between rollers of press, using hand tools.
• Load skid of unprinted sheets of paper on feed device of sheet-fed press, using the pallet jack.
• Inspect materials and products for defects, and to ensure it meets job specifications.
• Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment.
• Load printed side of the job to the flipping machine and prepare to load on the press machine.
• Identify and mark materials, products, and samples, following instructions.
• Remove materials and products from machines and equipment, and place them for staging position for bindery department.
• Record production and operational data, such as amount of materials processed.
• Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned
