Job summary

Digital Room in Van Nuys, CA is hiring a Press Feeder on 2nd shift to support our high‑volume print operations. You will feed sheets, inspect quality, and assist with routine setup and maintenance under the Press Operator’s guidance.

This is a full‑time, hourly position with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast‑paced plant environment. We offer competitive hourly pay ($19–$26) and benefits, including health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, life insurance, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Press Operator.
• Ability to use hand/power tools and safe use of them.
• Ability to multi task with changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the plates by punching holes on front and placing them inside the designated color.
• Assist Press Operator in removing and replace worn rollers and adjust pressure between rollers of press, using hand tools.
• Load skid of unprinted sheets of paper on feed device of sheet-fed press, using the pallet jack.
• Inspect materials and products for defects, and to ensure it meets job specifications.
• Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment.
• Load printed side of the job to the flipping machine and prepare to load on the press machine.
• Identify and mark materials, products, and samples, following instructions.
• Remove materials and products from machines and equipment, and place them for staging position for bindery department.
• Record production and operational data, such as amount of materials processed.
• Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned

We’re hiring! Our Van Nuys, California printing plant is looking for a Press Feeder to join our team. If you’re motivated and ready to grow with a company in the print industry, this could be the job for you.

Pay Range:

2nd Shift Pay Rate: $19.00 – $26.00/hour

Actual compensation within the range will depend on a variety of factors including the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

Shift:

2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – Friday
