Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setup Operator/Fabricator in Columbus, OH. This hands-on role requires performing setups, making fine adjustments, and producing precision parts in a fast-paced job shop environment.

You will work with Amada and Toyokoki equipment, interpret detailed blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while contributing to cross-training and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• At least two years of press brake setup and operating experience.
• Ability to independently perform press brake setups and machine adjustments.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience working to tight dimensional and angular tolerances.
• Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 85–175-ton CNC and ATC press brakes.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
• Produce parts within tolerances of ±.005 inch and one-half degree.
• Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Adjust machine offsets to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Record inspection results and part characteristics.
