Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a press brake operator for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). You will set up and operate a press brake to bend, shape, or cut metal per blueprints, ensuring parts meet quality standards through inspections and adjustments throughout manufacturing.

Responsibilities include interpreting instructions, operating CNC fabricators, reading gauges, and performing routine maintenance. High school diploma required; production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, assembly checks and CAD models to meet production specs preferred.

• Set up and operate various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.
• Set-up other equipment as assigned.
• Fabricate parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
• Read and use a variety of measuring instruments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary.
• Input programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary.
• Must have ability to use mathematics in various phases of the job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Description

Thepress brake operator isresponsible for setting up andoperatinga press brake machine to bend, shape, or cut metal sheets and plates according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring the produced parts meet quality standards by performing necessary adjustments and inspections throughout the manufacturing process

2nd Shift- 3pm-11pm

Key Responsibilities

Work from verbal and/or written instructions from supervisor and engineers.

Operator sets up and operates various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.

Set-up other equipment as assigned.

Fabricate parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.

Read and use a variety of measuring instruments.

Required Education & Qualifications
