Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a press brake operator for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) to set up and run a press brake, bending metal sheets to blueprints. The role requires reading prints and performing quality checks to ensure parts meet specs.

Hourly pay starts at $24.23 plus a $1.00 shift differential. A high school diploma is required, with preference for experience in make-to-order assembly and reading CAD models.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Production Experience In a Make-to-order Assembly Role Is Preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, assembly checks and CAD models in order to meet production specifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work from verbal and/or written instructions from supervisor and engineers.
• Operator sets up and operates various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.
• Set-up other equipment as assigned.
• Fabricate parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
• Read and use a variety of measuring instruments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary.
• Input programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary.
• Must have ability to use mathematics in various phases of the job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Description

The press brake operator isresponsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, shape, or cut metal sheets and plates according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring the produced parts meet quality standards by performing necessary adjustments and inspections throughout the manufacturing process.

2nd Shift- 3pm-11pm

Pay- $24.23 Hourly plus $1.00 Shift differential
