Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Press Assistant to support setup, operation, and maintenance of flexographic printing presses in a 24/7 operation. Prior experience is not required; training is provided to help you start quickly and contribute to efficient production with minimal waste.

You will work with the Press Operator, stage inks, plates, cores, and materials, and help keep safety and GMP standards. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team-oriented and reliable contributor.
• Ability to differentiate colors and read a ruler to 1/32 inch.

Responsibilities

• Support the Press Operator during press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime.
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials.
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area.
• Follow GMP and safety requirements.
• Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows.
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production running on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support press and production operations.
