Job summary

ProMach is hiring a Press Assistant for its 24/7 flexographic printing operation. This role supports setup, operation, and changeovers of printing presses, working with the Press Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and low-waste production.

No prior experience is required—training will be provided. Night shift runs 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with Wednesday to Friday and alternating Saturdays; starting pay is $17/hour plus an 8% shift premium ($18.36/hour) and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Press Operator during press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime.
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials.
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area.
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and safety requirements.
• Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows.
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production running on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support press and production operations.
