Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Press Assistant to support the setup, operation, and changeovers of flexographic printing presses. You will work closely with the Press Operator to keep production safe, efficient, and waste-free, ensuring every job starts strong.

The role offers a 24/7 production environment with stable schedules and competitive pay, including a $2,000 sign-on bonus and $17.00/hour starting pay. Training is provided; physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and reading a ruler to 1/32

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to follow GMP and safety requirements.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the Press Operator during setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime.
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials.
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area.
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and safety requirements.
• Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows.
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production running on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support press and production operations
