Job summary

MCC Label, a global leader in premium labels, seeks a Press Operator Assistant to support printing presses per specifications and customer expectations. You will assist with make-ready, changeovers, and cleanup, ensuring quality and safety, while maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience acceptable
• Print shop experience helpful but not required
• Strong communication; teamwork orientation
• Able to read and understand job tickets and measurements
• Able to pass ruler, eye, and color vision tests
• Able to input data accurately and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Comply with company and safety policies
• Meet defined job objectives for planning and execution
• Assist in setup and changeover of label jobs
• Clean up after changeovers and maintain cleanliness of machinery
• Clean ink pans and equipment; strip plates from cylinders
• Assist in locating dies and visuals for labels
• May work with a press operator to view labels with a strobe light
• Complete quality assurance sheets and documentation as needed
• Maintain workspace organization and readiness for overtime as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
