Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Press Operator Assistant to support setup and operation of printing presses per customer specs. You will help with external make-ready tasks during changeovers and keep equipment and workspace clean and organized.

The role requires basic reading of job tickets, ruler use, and reliable teamwork to meet production schedules. Prior print shop experience is helpful, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Print shop experience helpful but not required
• Strong ability to communicate and work as part of a team
• Ability to read a job ticket and understand measurements
• Color vision and visual acuity appropriate for performing tasks

Responsibilities

• Comply with company and safety policies
• Meet defined job objectives for planning and execution of jobs
• Assist in external make-ready operations during changeovers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace and equipment
• Assist in ink pans, dies, and plates handling
• Support press operators and verify quality per customer specs
• Complete quality assurance documentation as required
• Work overtime as needed and perform related duties
