Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the Salt Lake City presort facility. The role oversees production workers on the 1st shift, ensuring USPS compliance and quality control across the floor.

You will report to the Operations Manager and help with scheduling, training, and process improvements. The position requires you to manage mail flow, maintain safety standards, and communicate clearly across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in USPS-related areas (presort, mailroom, or related).
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in production or mailing industry.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access, plus basic MS Word, internet, and email usage.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform regular walking/standing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production workers on designated shift and ensure USPS/regulatory compliance.
• Interview, hire, train, appraise performance, and address employee issues.
• Oversee quality control and ensure Total Quality Management processes are followed.
• Assist Operations Manager with USPS reports, job costing, and internal communications.
