Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Direct Hire Full Time Warehouse Presort Associate 1 for the Salt Lake City facility. Second shift runs Monday through Friday from 5:15 pm to 1:45 am. Base rate is $17.00/hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential.

This role involves presorting, dispatch, and general warehouse duties. Responsibilities include reviewing postage and barcodes, handling mail and packages, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Dependable and reliable.
• Knowledge of the pre-sort mailing business is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time.
• Basic understanding of English to follow safety directions.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Presorter: Prepare outgoing mail by reviewing date, postage, and barcodes.
• Verify mail for correct dates, weights, zip codes, and avoid jams.
• Communicate errors and fix bad barcodes.
• Troubleshoot jams and clear mail from the machine.
• Understand USPS labels and bin/ tray numbers.
• Ensure equipment is running properly.
