Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for its Salt Lake City, UT presort facility. The role oversees production workers, ensures on-time mail processing, and supports quality and cost reporting.

The position offers a 1st shift schedule (Tue–Fri 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; Sat 5:00 PM–1:00 AM) with a salary range of $60,000–$65,000 plus a 6% field bonus and a flexible vacation approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in presort, mailroom, or related areas with USPS knowledge.
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet and email.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform extended periods of standing, walking, or bending.

Responsibilities

• Organize mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes to meet postal deadlines.
• Oversee the production workers on the designated shift, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to Total Quality Management processes on the production area.
• Assist in completing USPS and internal reports, and ensure accurate job costing and compliance with postal regulations.

Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsOversee quality function throughout the production area. Assure TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all timesAssist Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations. Assure clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shiftsOffer suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.Other duties as assignedYour Background:Ability to work Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and Saturday 5:00 pm - 1:30 amMinimum of one year supervisory experience in any one of the following areas where familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations are applied (presort, mailroom, associated industries)Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environmentStrong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet and emailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, or current maximum allowed by your State. For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them.
