Job summary

Pitney Bowes in Reading, PA, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for 1st shift (Tue-Sat, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM EST). You will lead the production team to meet postal deadlines and ensure efficient mail flow at our Presort Services facility.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in USPS-related operations and 2 years in production or mailing environments. Proficiency in Excel/Access and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are needed; weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in USPS-related operations (presort, mailroom, or related).
• Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Access; basic Word/Teams/Outlook tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or shift changes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production workers on designated shift.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate employees; address issues and enforce policies.
• Ensure compliance with USPS and internal regulations and complete required reports.
• Oversee quality throughout the production area and promote continuous improvement.
• Communicate clearly between shifts and seek efficiency improvements.
