Pitney Bowes in Reading, PA, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for 1st shift (Tue-Sat, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM EST). You will lead the production team to meet postal deadlines and ensure efficient mail flow at our Presort Services facility.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in USPS-related operations and 2 years in production or mailing environments. Proficiency in Excel/Access and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are needed; weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in USPS-related operations (presort, mailroom, or related).
• Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Access; basic Word/Teams/Outlook tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or shift changes as needed.

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, 1st Shift in Reading, Pennsylvania at our Presort Services facility!

Your schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00AM to 3:00PM EST.

The annual base salary range for this role is $60,000.

This role also has a 6% field bonus.

As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year.

You are a Warehouse Operations Supervisor you will work with the team to meet the company's productivity standards and requirements. Under direction from the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager, organizes the mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines.

You Will:

• Manage the production workers on designated shift.
• Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems.
• Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Oversees quality function throughout the production area.
• Assures TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are always followed.
• Assists Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations.
• Assures clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts.
• Offers suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.
• Be responsible for other duties as assigned.

Your Background:

• Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in any of the following areas where familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations are applied (presort, mailroom, associated industries)
• Minimum of 2-years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access along with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, internet, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., or current maximum allowed by your State.
• You must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation.
• Based on operational needs must be willing and able to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice
