Pitney Bowes is hiring an Assistant Operations Supervisor for our Atlanta, GA Presort facility. The role offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, plus a 10% annual field bonus. Schedule is 3rd shift, Tue–Sat, 12:30AM–9:00AM EST, with flexibility for additional days and shifts.

You will monitor production, adjust sort schemes, measure KPIs, and ensure compliance with USPS and internal reports while supporting safe, efficient mail handling.

Formación

• A minimum of 2 years of experience demonstrating progressively more responsibility in a production environment, preferably in the mailing industry.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an Operating Center averaging 5 million or more pieces per week with a 24-hour operating cycle.
• Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals and USPS postal regulations.
• Ability to prepare reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.
• Knowledge of PC software programs including proficiency in spreadsheet and database applications in a Microsoft Office environment
• Knowledge of PC applications and statistical reporting
• Ability to promote a safe work environment by understanding workplace environment standards and OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, motivation, and training of personnel
• Knowledge of management practices and principles and strong leadership skills

Responsabilidades

• Monitor production schedules and capacity to determine daily/weekly requirements.
• Adjust sort schemes to improve production efficiency.
• Measure production KPIs and take corrective actions.
• Prepare USPS and internal reports and keep job costing.
• Maintain USPS-PSI relationships.
• Communicate USPS regulation changes or new technology initiatives.
• Analyze mail volumes and postage trends to improve discounts.
• Ensure secure, safe transport of client mail.
• Perform additional duties as required.
