Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Pine Brook, New Jersey is hiring a Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 1. The role pays $16.50 per hour with a 1st shift schedule (5:30AM–2:00PM) and multiple shift options.

You will prepare mail, monitor quality, and resolve barcode issues in a fast-paced presort environment. Candidates should be dependable with strong communication skills, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by reviewing dates, postage, and barcodes.
• Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes in mail or packages.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and matching bin numbers on machines to tray numbers.
• Follow QMS practices to assure output quality.
• Understand preparation requirements for stacking sorted mail.
• Ensure sorter equipment runs properly.
• Assist with inbound/outbound processing of mail/packages.
• Be aware of acceptance times and truck departure deadlines.
• Meet SLA requirements and maintain safety in the work area.
• Handle additional duties as required.
