Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by verifying date, postage, and barcodes.
• Communicate errors and bad barcodes found in mail and packages.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machines.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and prep requirements for sorting.
• Ensure sorter equipment runs properly and assist inbound/outbound processing.
• Meet service level agreements and keep work area safe.
