Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services is hiring a Presort Associate 1 for our Pine Brook, New Jersey facility. The role involves preparing and sorting mail, reviewing postage, and ensuring barcode accuracy for production, with a focus on quality and safety.

You will work the 9:30PM–6:00AM shift with a base pay of $16.50 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential, totaling $17.25 per hour. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver in a warehouse setting.
• Basic English to understand safety and operating directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail with correct dates, postage and barcodes.
• Identify and communicate barcode or USPS label errors.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatch.
• Ensure sorting equipment runs correctly and meets SLAs.
• Assist with inbound/outbound mail flow and maintain a clean work area.
