Pitney Bowes Presort Services is hiring for a Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 1 in Brown Deer, WI. You will learn to prepare outgoing mail, verify dates, postage, and barcodes, and ensure quality before production.

The role offers a starting pay of $15.00 per hour with a $3/hr premium for 3rd shift. You will be trained to handle mail and packages, troubleshoot jams, and maintain accurate USPS label preparation and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Be dependable and reliable.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by reviewing date, postage, and barcodes.
• Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes on mail and packages.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machines.
• Monitor quality of mail and packages before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels, bin numbers, and tray mappings.
• Ensure equipment is running properly and assist with inbound/outbound processing.
• Meet Service Level Agreements and maintain a clean, safe work area.
