Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Omaha, NE is hiring a Presort Associate 1. Earn $17.00/hour with an additional $2.00/hour for 3rd shift. This full-time role trains you to prepare outgoing mail, verify postage and barcodes, troubleshoot jams, and ensure output quality per USPS and QMS standards.

Qualifications

• Dependable and reliable.
• Knowledge of the pre-sort mailing business is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend 80% of the time.
• Basic English to follow safety directions in English.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends or different shifts.
• Must have current work experience at Pitney Bowes as a Warehouse Mail Sorter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail by checking date, postage, and barcodes.
• Identify and report barcode errors in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and matching bin numbers.
• Follow QMS practices to ensure output quality.
• Ensure equipment is running properly.
• Assist with inbound/outbound mail processing.
• Be aware of acceptance times and truck departures.
• Meet SLAs for mail readiness.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as required.
