Pitney Bowes is hiring for a Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 1 at our Pine Brook, New Jersey Presort Services Facility. This role has 6 slots and a 2nd shift from 1:30PM to 10:00PM. The job includes training to prepare mail, monitor quality, fix barcodes, and ensure on-time dispatch.

Pay is $16.50 per hour with full benefits and weekly pay. Qualifying candidates should be dependable, with good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by reviewing dates, postage, and barcodes.
• Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams.
• Monitor the quality of mail prior to processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and preparation requirements.
