Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Presort Associate 1 for our Indianapolis, IN facility. You will be trained to prepare outgoing mail, review postage, barcodes, and quality, while assisting with inbound/outbound processing. The role requires reliability, good communication, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The position offers $18.00 per hour with an additional $3/hr for 3rd shift, comprehensive benefits, and weekly pay. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required to meet SLAs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods and follow safety directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail with correct date, postage, and barcodes.
• Identify and communicate barcode errors found in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machines.
• Monitor quality before processing and before dispatching.
• Follow USPS labeling, sorting, and preparation requirements.
• Assist inbound and outbound mail processing as needed.
