You will learn to prepare outgoing mail with correct date, postage, and barcodes, while identifying errors and dead barcodes, and preventing jams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail with correct date, postage, and barcodes.
• Identify and communicate errors and bad barcodes.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatching.
• Understand USPS labels and prep requirements for sorting.
• Ensure equipment runs properly and is maintained.
• Assist with inbound/outbound processing of mail and packages.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Meet SLAs and acceptance times for shipments.
• Support team in daily presort operations at the Indianapolis facility.
