Northeast Health Services, a member of Transformations Care Network (TCN), is hiring a Prescriber Medical Administrative Assistant (Medical Assistant) to support our clinical team and deliver high-quality patient service. You will answer calls, schedule visits, assist with telehealth, and protect patient information under HIPAA.

Key duties include coordinating care between patients and providers, processing prior authorizations, maintaining accurate EMR documentation, and training new staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail oriented, highly organized with strong time management.
• Professional appearance and demeanor when interfacing with patients and teammates in a mental health setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work well in a team, especially under stress.
• Patient and empathetic attitude with adaptability.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications and general computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Answer phone calls professionally and respond to voicemails in a timely manner.
• Guide patients through troubleshooting for telehealth applications and portals.
• Process medication prior authorizations.
• Support providers with administrative duties including document preparation and required forms.
• Complete documentation in EMR in a timely, accurate manner.
• Provide administrative support and assist with regulatory compliance and licensure maintenance.
