Ohio Head Start Association, Inc. in Wapakoneta, OH is seeking a Teacher Part Year to support preschool education within the Head Start program.

You will work with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator and families to plan activities, prepare the classroom, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment. You will collaborate with the Head Teacher to develop experiences that promote development across domains, assist in screenings, and support family engagement throughout the program year.

Formación

• Education and Training: HS diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent; or enrolled in a CDA program and finish within two years of start date.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CORS pays for educational advancement for motivated individuals.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families to plan and implement the Head Start program for preschoolers.
• Assist in preparation of the learning environment, daily routine, activities, and mealtime; supervise in classroom and outdoors.
• Ensure child safety with proper supervision and a healthy, sanitary learning space.
• Assist in development of activities promoting children’s interests and skill-building across developmental domains.
• Support family engagement, male involvement activities, and, when requested, home visits and parent/teacher conferences.
