Ohio Head Start Association, Inc. seeks a part-year Teacher to implement Head Start preschool activities in Indian Lake, Lewistown, OH.

You will work with the Head Teacher and families to create engaging learning experiences, prepare materials, and ensure a safe classroom environment. Responsibilities include collaboration with the classroom team, daily routines, screenings, and family engagement activities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with a CDA or enrolled in CDA program.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and driving history acceptable to agency insurer.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children.
• Team with the Head Teacher in center classroom with daily operations, working with children and parents.
• Prepare the learning environment, gather materials, daily routines, group times, outdoor time, and meals.
• Ensure the safety of all children through supervision and a safe, sanitary, organized learning environment.
• Assist in development of activities that promote development across domains and conduct developmental screenings.
• Support family engagement and male involvement activities; perform home visits and parent/teacher conferences when requested.
