Job summary

Cadence Education Whitman, MA is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will support daily classroom operations and help deliver a nurturing, safe environment where young children can grow.

You will foster inclusive, engaging activities, assist with curriculum delivery, monitor progress, and partner with families to support each child’s development, including those with IEPs, while upholding licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Experience in early childhood or group care setting preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families; establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Follow safety policies and document incidents as required.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and School Director on planning and activities.
• Participate in required meetings and professional development.
