Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher in Whitman, MA, to support daily classroom operations and Cadence programs under supervision. You will foster a safe, nurturing environment that supports physical, social, and emotional development, including IEPs, while maintaining licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, state licensing may override.
• Must meet minimum state requirements for experience and education; prior early childhood/group care experience preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications and background checks; CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are met.

Responsabilités

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity, respect, and care.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report accidents/incidents per policy.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and procedures from the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
